    Stangs 'N Planes!

I don't think I'm alone in believing Mustangs look great with aircraft. If you've got a picture of your car with an airplane post it here! I'll start:

Will a GT500 and a real Mustang (meaning V6) fit into a rotary bomb bay? Talk about military stand-by flight time...wow!

There is one airplane in your group that would have gotten anyone shot and buried at sea in the 1980s if they admitted it was real. I liked the white GT/CS best of all...well, maybe one of the MIGs...

Great Shots! Thank you from the cold war side of the house...mixed memories. Dang I miss the Russians...the world was much safer when all we worried about was global thermonuclear warfare...this rogue individual with weapons of mass destruction is too hard...

This reminds me of a conversation from Three Days of the Condor where the CIA old-timer (Wabash) talks about his entry into the US intelligence field:

Mr. Wabash: I go even further back than that. Ten years after The Great War, as we used to call it. Before we knew enough to number them.
Higgins: You miss that kind of action, sir?
Mr. Wabash: I miss that kind of clarity.

42 States so far in my 2009 Pony...

    Luckyman,

Unfortunately they were all taken on military bases...so you'd have to get sponsored, or attend an airshow when they open up the base to the public.
