Boss 302 anyone- found one for you

Need a 2012 Boss 302. Found one today on the ground and available (NOT)--Competition Orange with the optional recaro seats. Looks and sounds wonderful. At $45k I'm buying...at $63k they can pound (Edited as this is a family forum).

David you make me smile. You forget there are so many people out there that actually think only $19k over MSRP is a steal. And the dealer will surely find one eventually. After all......Future Ford is still in business after all these decades of Rube Rolling.

of course...if they actually were willing to sell it at say $2000 over I'd really be in a jam and be forced too put up or shut up...not the best of economies for a new toy.............

Calling Ford on Monday to see if they have any special replacement pedals and pedal arms (temp bolt on extensions in a Boss 302 would just look stupid-I an't going there). My legs/inseem just way to short for 05+ Mustangs..as I sit right on top of the steering wheel less then 6 in from the air bag (in Nascar they call it riding up on the wheel-not a real comfortable seating position).............thus a no go...can't get in or out with the seat in that position with the recarro seat bolstering.

Thanks Sam...I've always been close to the wheel of 99-04's but never this close. Salesguy was only 2 in taller than I but with legs 7 in longer...my height is all upper body...I'm in the dang Boss...moving the seat closer and closer (old style pull bar--NOT electronic with Recarros).....finally proper leg length to work the clutch but I'm almost up the steering wheel...tried to get out--impossible with the Recarro side bolsters...totally pinned in and way up on the shifter also--ackward arm position.

I probably should have just bought it and let it sit under a cover until custom pedal arms could have been manufactured...but I was just too shocked as if I was in a strange dream. Left it there and it sold the next day. On the ground less than a week.

$56 out the door. I could have bought it and did drive it but I believe the 2014 Mustang[that I'm waiting for] will make the Boss look old hat. They had a total of 4 other buyers that changed their minds about buying this car. Driving it did not push my buttons. I like my Mach 1 better.
