Sept 1 (Thurs) Spend the night in Las Vegas
Sept 2 (Friday) Meet at the Shelby Museum @ 7:00 AM
6755 Speedway Blvd Las Vegas 89084 (Just off I-15)
Get on the road by 7:30 heading to Grand Junction Co..... 505 miles @ 9-10 hours
Spend the night in Grand Junction Co
Sept 3 (Sat ) Depart Grand Junction for Cheyenne Wy..... 341 miles @ 7 hours
Spend the night in Cheyenne
Sept 4 (Sun) Depart Cheyenne for Lincoln Nebraska..... 441 miles @ 8-9 hours
Spend the night in Lincoln
Sept 5 (Mon) Depart Lincoln for Springfield Illinois..... 438 miles @ 8-9 hours
Spend the night in Springfield
Sept 6 (Tues) Depart Springfield for Cincinatti Ohio..... 320 miles @ 5-6 hours
Spend the night in Cincinatti
Sept 7 (Wed) Depart Cincinatti for for Pittsburgh Pa..... 287 miles @ 5-6 hours
Spend the night in Pittsburgh
Sept 8 (Thurs) Depart Pittsburgh and head to Shanksville Pa..... 250 miles @ 5 Hours ****
to visit Flight 93 Memorial and have lunch. Continue
on to Wash D.C. (spend night here)
Sept 9 (Fri) Visit Pentagon 9-11 Memorial and other sites
the group desires. spend the night in Wash D.C.
Sept 10 (Sat) Depart Wash D.C. for a few hour stop in
Philly to see the sights (Liberty Bell etc)
have lunch in Philly before continuing to Brooklyn N Y.....220 miles @ 4-5 hours
Spend night in Brooklyn
Sept 11 Pay our respects at the Brooklyn Wall of Remeberance (2 Hours ??)
Spend the day in New York with perhaps a trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty
****If the group is up for it we will include a stop in Gettsyburg time permitting
This is about the best I can come up with
Gas stops and breaks we can figure out on the fly

Glad to hear you are hitting the Shelby American Museum....as a loaner collection I've always wondered how long they can keep it together, again highly envious.

I am posting here so the true schedule/route is reflected with the continuation of the 911 trip thread. I am doing this in case someone happens by that is new to the plan and doesn't confuse the current Las Vegas schedule/route with the original San Francisco plan. ALL RIGHT THEN! Paul has posted the hotel operation plan so this thing is has become an executable road march order. We are at 190 days from today until we go wheels up! Who's going on this pony ride?
