Greetings! I told myself I would limit the stang board memberships to three, but after finding this one I had to amend the rules. I caught the documentary covering the last event and it really made my day. I've had my mustang for about ten years now and I never tire of spending time with others that share my love for these (and all) cars. I've convinced the wife to join me for the 2014 event and I eagerly look forward to getting to know a few of you in the interim.
A "brief" history of my baby... Bought in 2003 in rough but running condition. Rebuilt motor and tranny with help from some long time friends. That started a whirlwind of learning and rebuilding that snowballed out of control. Drove the car as a daily driver for two years. Career took a left hand turn and I ended up traveling for a living for six or seven years so the car didn't get as much attention. Three years ago I landed a stable job, bought a house, got married and threw some serious time, work and assets into a restoration/mod. Took everything down to the metal, replaced too many parts to count and rebuilt the motor again. One day I'll have all the pics of the last three years up on my website but the years prior to that can be found here: http://www.65mustang.4t.com
I have a crazy amount of things on my never ending "to do" list, but in the near future I need to replace the steering box, install this nifty retro-sound radio I bought, move my TCP brace kit and cure a silly oil leak that I suspect may be stemming from a worn crank :sad2:.
I look forward to future hours wasted here!
