For those that come around here at MAA Forums often you might have realized I am not on here that often. I pop in every now and then to say hello and make sure that spammers have not attacked the forums with purple multiplying orbs.
In the off years when MAA is not planning an event I am working hard at my day job which these days is publishing automotive news. It does not pay a lot, so I work a lot of hours to make it pencil and thus create a living.
Some already know that I publish www.TheMustangNews.com, www.SVTUSA.com and the Roush Enthusiasts website www.FnSweet.com
But in the last year we have also launched some other automotive websites that include:
www.ActivityVehicle.com News about SUV's and Crossover Vehicles
www.Motoring2.com News about Hybrid, Electric, and Alternative Fuel Vehicles
www.DieselDig.com News about Diesel cars in the US market
www.Sciclonic.com News and Enthusiast Buzz for Scion cars.
My wife has also launched her own site covering a variety of auto news: www.CarNewsFirst.com
We have a few other little websites here and there that are smaller and more about having fun then making money.....
www.SuperstitionHighways.com Local Lore and Community Site for our home area.
www.TheDailyRabbit.com a sometimes updated journal of our pet rabbit and his bad attitude.
The long and short of it is that we keep busy and have fun with cars. In fact, most recently I spent a couple of days up in Boulder, CO test driving the new Toyota Prius v, which is a wagon version of the popular Toyota Prius. YES,......it's not a Mustang. I know, I know. But a lot of readers out there like them. Being an auto journalist is not all glitz and glamor.
