Thanks Doug and Carol for a memorable MAA Reunion dinner. The food was outstanding and the service was equally superb. That pork Osso Bucco and the Carnitas - wow! I'm hoping that people who took pictures will post them. The evening variety show (aka Brian) at our table was pretty much non-stop the whole time; and I forgot to pull the camera out.

Well I try my best to keep people entertained and happy and it really helps too have great friends to laugh at your jokes....I should have been a writer for SNL...but I couldn't have pulled it off without my supporting cast (aka Lizzie). I really did have an amazing trip even if it was only a 2hr drive and was so different riding as a passenger on the cruise for the first time. I have always been the one in here that says you can only meet someone for the first time once, and now I hope it is always like a first time. To everyone that I shared dinner and a joke with I can't wait to share time with you again. To those few that spent dinners with me...still working on what would have been the Elton John & Micheal Jackson duet:grouphug:
I guess this time I was really wrong when I said its all about the drive and not the destination, cause the destination was simple amazing. I have never laughed for 5 days straight even if it was at my own jokes.

Thanks for the get together. Nice to see everyone again & to meet some others who we didn't meet on the tour. The food was great, more than I could comfortably eat but I tried anyway.
We got home today after a round trip journey of 12000 plus kilometres... oh I know for you who live below the 49th parallel that translates into something in excess of 7000 miles. And oh yes, Hufbeats averaged 24.6 mph on that trip despite her confusion over the grades of oats available to her. Anyway we had a ball.

It's kinda funny that with the Grand National Show being in the Northwestern part of the U.S. that we should get I think the largest MAA Alumni Reunion...just amazing....maybe it was the free entertainment and oversized drinks.:ack2:

Pete, I am so glad you, Gail and Hufbeats made it home safe and sound. The Pony really needs to work on getting herself a passport so she can come up and see Hufbeats and experience a show in that neck of the woods.

Now that would be cool. The Golden Horeshoe Club (GHMA) just had its stampede this past weekend and of course we went. There were over 250 Mustangs on display which I felt wasn't a bad effort. Some nice machinery ther. Unfotunately, I hadn't had time to download my camera from the run out west so I didn't get any pics to post but it would be great to have you show up some day.
Thanks to everyone in the Northwest, we really had a great time.

Carol & Doug and all the rest of the MAA family
Many thanks for all you and the MNW club to make all of us feel welcome and for the wonderful dinner location on Sunday night, the best carnitas I have ever had. To Brian yes you should have been a SNL or Second City writer and your delivery was fantastic. As the waiter on Thursday night said "YOU ONE FUNNY GUY" and Sherri and I agree. Take care of yourselves untill we are all together again.
